 IRISH BLOG: THE SCHOOL AND SUBJECTS PT.2

         Apart from the modals, the rest of the subjects are also really exotic. For instance, there is wook technology, where we work with a wide range of tools. The proyect we were doing was a frame with an image that we had previously burned. Unfortunately, I hadn´t enough time to finish it.

         Another interesting subject is future leaders. This one consist of participating, organizing or taking part in different sports events. A couple of students go to a lot of the local matches, one helps the coaches with the warm-up equipment, and the another one is the first-aid option. For us, we just prepared a gaelic football tournament for the youngster.

                        Finally, irish student in Ty (transition year) have to perform in a musical in November. Some of them have important roles, maybe they sing, or they are just an important caracter for the plot. Either way, every one is dancing a couple of dances. So to practice, the first hour on Thursdays and Fridays are dedicated to improve the dance and to practice it.

2º trip: The Ploughing

  IRISH BLOG: THE PLOUGHING COMPETITION.       The Ploughing Compitition, or Ploughing for short, is a tournament of, you guessed it, ploughing. It took place far from us, like an hour train journey.        There were so many tractor all over the place. But altough the ploughing itself could have been cool, we went because all the shops that they set up at the competition. And, lucky us! We had the opportunity to be there, beacuse its only once a year. Moreover, we had the greatest weather that we could have had. Usually, the place its very muddy due to all the rain. But while we were there, the previous days were really sunny, so the event was really enjoyable.        The competition normally has around 60.000 people that go, mainly for the shops. Conclusion

THE IRISH BLOG: THE CONCLUSION      Looking back to it, I can confidently state that this trip has change my life in a good way. It is an opportunity that I think every young lad, if they has the chance, have to try. I'm  very thankful to the Erasmus+ program, I'm very thankful to all the teachers that organised the trip and I'm very thankful to my centre for having given me this great opportunity. I hope that this program keeps going for all the years left, so this chance can reach as much people as possible. If any Young student is seeing, go for It, you won't regret It.
